9 more days and it’ll officially be summer. I can see the upward trend of weather inching more into the upper 80s. I’m actually looking forward to warmer weather, wearing shorts, flipflops and tank tops.
What I’m not looking forward to are the increased electric bills for running the AC for longer periods. I don’t have central AC, so I have a portal unit upstairs, the kind with a hose that vents the hot air out the window, and it basically stays on all night long. I’m not sure if it’s just no efficient or just sucks.
I’m also looking forward for the post-pandemic world to start opening up. It’s already pretty crazy on the weekends, with tons of restaurants having 1+ hr waits to get in, when 2 years ago you could just walk in.
I guess people are as eager to get out as me!
