So nothing I’ve done fixed my internet. I’ve tried changing cables, tried using the cable directly from the wall(there’s a female-to-female coupler coming from my wall to my cable modem) and nothing has fixed my speed.
I pay for 940, I average 100 or less. I can’t tell you how maddening it is to pay for something and not receive it. So unless I pay Cox a $75 dollar maintenance fee, I either deal with it or fix it myself somehow.
Next thing I want to try is connecting my cable modem to the cable ingress going into my house. A number of years ago we had DirecTV installed so I don’t know if their cables are causing an issue or not, but it’s frustrating.
Gotta love internet…
