Weekends almost here..

Just finished my 2nd cup of coffee and as I am sitting here reading posts about Space, Solar Systems and why we haven’t seen any evidence of aliens and something I just thought of shook me to my core.

Light travels at 186,000 miles per second, and in the grand scheme of the cosmos, that’s very slow.

When we are looking at the night sky, what we are seeing are stars how they existed when the light first left them hundreds of thousands and millions of years ago.

What if the reason we don’t see any evidence of aliens is that the entire universe is GONE and all we’re seeing is the leftover light that is just now hitting us. It takes 2 million years for Andromeda’s light to hit us, what if Andromeda is gone! What if the entirety of the Universe is gone except the Milky Way…

Freaky stuff. Time for a 3rd cup of coffee….
