Hello again, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything so I figured I’d let you all know that I’m still alive! Unfortunately the 2 ladies from a prior post, the mother and her daughter who’ve lived next door to me for a number of years did in fact both die. The mother was well into her 90s..
I had come home one day and noticed a hazmat style vehicle in front of the garage, and as I was getting ready to pull into my garage I looked at the back of the vehicle and saw a bunch of rolled up carpet. I thought that was an odd thing to see..
New neighbor moves in and I talk with him and sure enough he confirms it; they both had passed in the house. I assume on the carpet because of what I had seen in the back of the truck.
Anyways.. Got let go from my previous company of 6 years on the same day one of my dog dies 11/2/23. 2 months later another dog dies 1/7/24, and then 2 months after that another dog dies 3/24/24.
2024 hasn’t been good to me so far… I managed to get a new job, but my job has me driving past the very place I had to take my dogs to be put to sleep, so it’s basically a daily reminder.
I loved those animals so much.
Such is life though… When you’re handed lemons, you can either make lemonade or you can squeeze them into your eyes.
